What’s the cost?

The full amount is £1,500 or £1,600 if you opt for our payment plan, as detailed below.

What does that give me?

The amounts quoted include vat, and cover:

• all the administration
• the collection kit box, this contains everything needed to collect your baby's umbilical cord blood stem cells and your blood sample
• a courier to transport the cord blood unit and maternal blood sample safely to our laboratory
• all the processing and testing required for both the cord blood unit and the maternal blood samples
• the kit and testing for the second maternal blood test
• storage of your baby's stem cells for 20 years.

Paying in one go

Paying in one go, is cheaper than opting for our payment plan. Here's how it works:

• £150 when you register as a member
• £1,350 when the umbilical cord blood and first maternal blood samples are received by us for testing and processing
• You can pay by credit card (Mastercard & Visa) or debit card (Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro, Switch and Solo)

Our payment plan

Our payment plan allows you to spread the cost of storing your baby's cord blood. At £1,600 the total cost is £100 more than if you pay in one go, but allows you more time to pay. Here's how it works:

• £150 when you register as a member
• £550 when the umbilical cord blood and first maternal blood samples are received by us for testing and processing
• three instalments of £300 (£900 in total) every three months thereafter
• You can pay by credit card (Mastercard & Visa) or Visa Debit card
